i’m creating this thread as I’m sick to death of seeing popup blocker alerts that are presented to the user - typically with the choice of either disabling, or paying a fee to access the content. I completely understand that people want to be paid for the work they do, but asking visitors to disable their ad blocker is dangerous, and extremely bad practice. God only knows what is lurking on these sites - from crypto miners to buried malware - the list is endless. Want me to disable my ad blocker ? It isn’t going to happen.

Let’s stop this reckless practice. Security is in place for a reason. Asking someone to disable their protection to read content is unacceptable.
