this is pretty interesting. I mean, where do we draw the line between invading privacy, and data collecting for improvement and statistics.
I would bet that all hardware and software collects some kind of info. Ubuntu does, Firefox does. But only to have “a big picture” about how many users they have, points of improvement, etc.
Data that can not be traced back to a specific individual.
