mvp That’s a great question. The issue with all exams is that the environment they are conducted in needs to be “secured”. In typical fashion, tests for (let’s say Microsoft exams) are conducted using a computer in kiosk mode, and your mobile phone etc is removed before you enter the room to prevent cheating.
The real problem here is that remote testing is impossible to police. You do not have the same control as you would have in the above scenario, and cannot realistically prevent people from cheating. Sure, you can provide the same kiosk environment, but you cannot control external factors such as tablets, laptops, mobile phones etc. You “could” use a webcam to monitor that user, but that won’t deter the most cunning types from casually looking down at a mobile phone in their lap.
In reality, there isn’t any way to effectively police this in a remote environment you cannot control.
