Well, there’s a surprise. One again, Facebook hits the news for all the wrong reasons. Despite claiming to “stop the practice of listening in” to messenger calls and the like, the less than trustworthy social media giant is now listening to requests made to it’s “Hey, Portal” platform. Yet another privacy concern created by Facebook who appear to be abusing the rights of users who may be unwitting targets for “product research and improvement”.
Facebook has also revealed that the range of Portal products will support allowing human teams to review audio of user interactions with its voice assistant, despite recent privacy concerns over the practice.
